Product Manager, Active Trading

The Active Trading team builds the products our most engaged users rely on to navigate fast-moving markets with confidence. We focus on delivering intuitive, real-time experiences that help traders make sense of complex market dynamics—using data, intelligent systems, and thoughtful design.

As a Product Manager on the team, you’ll help define and build the next generation of active trading experiences at Robinhood. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Research, Design, and Data Science to turn advanced AI and machine learning capabilities into products that feel powerful, understandable, and trustworthy. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Privacy to translate regulatory requirements into productized guardrails, enabling teams to move quickly while meeting the highest standards for safety and customer trust.

This role balances ambition with responsibility: advancing state-of-the-art AI usage in fintech while ensuring our products are explainable, compliant, and built for long-term trust.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

• Set the vision and roadmap for active trading, defining how AI can elevate traders’ investing experience within clear safety and compliance boundaries.
• Ship innovative features end-to-end with Research, Design, Engineering, and Data Science, from rapid prototyping through launch and ongoing iteration.
• Incorporate regulatory and policy requirements into the product by working with compliance, legal, security, and privacy to build reusable guardrails.
• Lead launches across demos, customer education, support readiness, and cross-functional comms; coordinate with marketing and operations for smooth rollouts
• Prioritize product features and experimentation based on user feedback, measured impact, and strategic alignment across Robinhood.
• Set clear goals and metrics to measure product usage, adoption, and performance and use them to steer the roadmap.

What you bring

• Minimum 4 years in building and launching high-quality consumer products.
• Bonus points for experience in fintech, 0-1 and/or consumer AI products.
• Strong technical understanding of GenAI, agents, and machine learning, with the ability to work closely with engineers and researchers.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder products at scale.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Data-driven mindset and a passion for improving customer experience.
