As a Product Operations Manager, you will join the Product and Engineering organization to drive operational excellence across multiple Databricks product lines. You will serve as an essential bridge between customer-facing field teams and the product and engineering teams building features used by thousands of customers. 

In this role, you will partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Field teams. By analyzing contact drivers, product telemetry, and operational friction points, you will build actionable customer narratives that highlight our high-impact opportunities.

This is a fast-paced, highly cross-functional role that requires strong communication, efficient prioritization and organization,. and deep expertise in stakeholder management.  of stakeholder management. Applied experience with analytics and reporting is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources, including customer and partner feedback and product usage metrics, to build cohesive stories around customer pain points
  • Design and maintain user-friendly reports and dashboards to surface key metrics and trends to stakeholders
  • Influence product and engineering decision-makers to deliver the best possible customer experience, using both data and qualitative analysis to inform your perspective
  • Partner with cross-functional operations teams to develop key metrics, build automated reporting,  and implement process improvements 
  • Organize and monitor key results across product lines, communicating  progress and blockers regularly to department stakeholders
  • Show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data
  • Facilitate stakeholder syncs and cross-departmental alignment to build consensus on critical product decisions.
  • Champion Databricks principles: : be customer obsessed, be data-driven, team work makes the dream work, and own it.

Competencies / Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role. Experience using SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience building Data pipelines using SQL, Python, R, or Scala
  • Experience building dashboards and data visualizations, using tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, PowerBI, and/or Data Studio
  • Comfortable communicating with Databricks executives and department leadership. Capable of distilling complex analysis and modeling efforts into clear messaging
  • Experience in the enterprise software industry, SaaS and B2B experience preferred
  • Experience working with customer-facing support systems such as in-app help centers, customer case & form submission flows, and zero-contact resolution/self-help features 
  • Listen well in order to drive stakeholder alignment to help reach the necessary decisions
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Experience leading update syncs (strong preference for Agile/Scrum/JIRA experience)
  • You understand the benefits of moving quickly while paying attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial, "can do" attitude - ability and willingness to make an impact in a start-up
